Ways to Win and Ways to Lose

There are several ways to win a race. 

A holeshot or quicker ET, opponent red lights or gets disqualified.

But there are many reasons to loose.

The following is a list of ways we've lost races.  They are in no particular order.

Broke rear end - rolled sprag in transmission - shook parachutes out - fuel pump shaft broke - fuel pump leaned out - lost brakes on burnout - steering broke - blower belt broke - crashed - broke fuel tank on burnout - blew out burst panel - kicked rods out - broke block in half - blew crank out of bottom of motor - lost oil pressure - oil leak - fuel leak - tire shake - broke cam in half - broke gear drive - broke key way on blower hub - throttle linkage shook off - lifted blower - timing on mag backed up - blown head gaskets - burned pistons - no air pressure for shifter - flywheel came loose from crank - kill switch shorted out - idler pulley came loose - magneto shorted out - wheel stands - red lights - left in second gear - pulled chutes too early - crew errors - driver errors.
